THE ROLE...THE RULES...AND THE GAME

Avete mai giocato ad un GDR? intendo dire ad un vero GDR con carta e matita, e con i manuali...non dico quei cosi che sembrano GDR fatti a videogiochi.
Comunque sono un giocatore frequente del Mondo Di Tenebra della White Wolf ( ora molti si spiegano cos'è Maghi: Il Risveglio nella mia wish list), e ieri si è concluso un capitolo senza fermare il cattivone che è riuscito nel suo intento...vabbè sarà per un altra volta!

NO 1984!!!
parte seconda

No al 1984!!! ovvero NO AL GRANDE FRATELLO! ...è stata sviluppata una tecnologia, ormai da diversi anni, che permette di controllare il software eseguito sui computer (anche sui Mac da poco, prima avevano aderito solo i produttori di PC), in pratica non potete eseguire software a meno che il produttore del sistema operativo non ti permetta on-line e in tempo reale l'esecuzione di questo.... OOOOO CHE BELLO! niente più virus e cavalli di troia,etc,etc...si ma niente più software procurato per vie losche, ma non solo questo....si pensi solo che il produttore del sistema operativo conosce, grazie a questo, tutto il software che noi eseguiamo!!!!
Vi chiederete perchè 1984, sappiate che 1984 è il titolo di un libro famoso di George Orwell, in questo libro si parla, appunto, del grande fratello, cioè del grande occhio che ti guarda e ti osserva e ti dice quello che devi fare, tra l'altro 1984 è l'anno di uscita del primo MAC, e lo spot è proprio ispirato al libro di Orwell, ma in quel caso il grande fratello era la Microsoft...
Vorrei far notare un coincidenza che ho notato anche io, l'orologio dei mac è diviso in ere, in base alla numerazione esadecimale e al sistema di conteggio delle date.
L'era A è la nascita del MAC: 1984; l'era B ,che è incominciata a gennaio 1997, è stato l'anno in cui Jobs è ritornato alla Apple dopo essere stato licenziato, l'era C che è incominciata una decina di settimane fa, è incominciata nell'anno in cui i MAC cambiano processore dopo 22 anni di PowerPC, e passano ai processori Intel.
Che sia una coincidenza???

LA FINE DI UN INIZIO

Non ci posso credere...io e il mio cotesista abbiamo finito il tirocinio!!! ormai questo andare in serra era diventato troppo ripetitivo, ma ora è finito, finalmente, ottenendo 8 punti su 8 per la prova finale (tesi); me li sognavo anche di notte quei robot lego che facevano di tutto tranne quello per cui venivano programmati...

Ora dobbiamo (io e il mio compare Frank) solo scrivere una 60ina abbondante di pagine di tesi più la relazione interna di 5 pagine, più l'abstract di fine tirocinio di 3 pagine...bene!
